Sure, it's easy to say they sound like Steve Albini with some delay, but that really misses the bigger picture: Albini never used delay. They guys are doing some things that Steve never thought to and that's worth a listen.

Ce qu'il est bon d'être surpris et émerveillé par un nouveau groupe dans un genre musical qu'on connait par cœur. Pour un premier album, Lilac frappe fort avec un Noise Rock percutant qui impressionne d'emblée. Pas de faiblesse sur ce disque, Lilac maintient la tension et le niveau jusqu'au bout ! Les compositions possèdent une maturité et une spontanéité qui leurs donnent un air de classiques du genre Noise Rock. Électrique, sauvage, authentique, inspiré, un vrai petit bijou !!!
